"Number of homeless in England has risen for 3 years in a row". The United Kingdom has to deal with more and more problems as the number of homeless rises. With only the streets as a place to sleep, homelessness is becoming common across the United Kingdom. With an estimated number of 185,000 people per year, the percentage of rough sleepers in London is rising by 6% every year. More homeless has to live in temporary accommodatiomn. One of the reason why there is an increase is because there is more people generally, so there's not enough housing for everyone. There is also not enough jobs for everyone, people that can't find jobs are forced to sleep on the streets. This causes the increase in homeless across the country.

Juxtaposition of Life and Death
1. A missile that swam, now lying in front of me dead.
2. Dead in front of me, catafalqued king of my own ocean. Once sappy as a sprung fir in the green turmoil,
3. Once seed to sea-quake, tidal wave, now simply dead remains.
4. The only true machine of the sea: unflawed, undefiled, navigating now the waters of death.
The poem uses a lot of juxtaposition between motion and death.
Ode to a large tuna at the market paragraphs
"Ode to a Large Tuna at the Market" is a poem that describes a tunas life, including life and death. The juxtaposition of life and death describes how the fish has an exciting and free life until it finally dies within the market. The juxtaposition is used to first describe the amazing life the tuna is having and how free it is, then adds one word: dead, at the end, to give you the feeling that the fish is never the same as it used to be. This makes a contrast in the poem, one saying the fish is alive and one that it's already dead.
In the poem "Ode to a Large Tuna in the Market" the author uses a lot of juxtapostion between motion and death. Describing a tunas life and death. There is juxtapositions using metaphors. At the beginning of the poem, it describes how the fish was a torpedo and a missile that swam, then simply states that it's dead. This is a strong juxtaposition between motion and death using metaphor.
There is also a juxtaposition with age in the poem. Describing that the tuna once was sappy as a sprung fir, indicating that it was young. Then describes that it is now a catafalqued king, which indicates that the tuna was old. The juxtaposition between young and old is used successfully in the poem.

Tone is voice of a character
Mood is settings of a story
Wind splashed on my face, millions of ice shards like arrows shot at me. With only storm clouds above me. There was strange rumbling sounds coming from the other mountain range, as if any moment rain is going to pour down. I only wished the sky was clearer.
The third poem is a imagery poem, because there is a lot of obvious imagery sentences in the paragraph. On the first paragraph it described how the cloths spin in the washing machine and how they don't know which way to turn, this is a imagery poem. Also it described how they poured in a little bit of soup.

It was a dry day, the ground was cracked by the heat. I walked into a small Irish pub, the door was swinging by one nail. The pub was deserted, with only some peanuts on the wooden table. Peanuts always made me thirsty. There was a few empty beer bottles on the counter, some standing straight, some laying flat on the counter and some crashed on the floor.

Imagery poem paragraph
The newborn flowers blossom in all sizes and vivid colors... This poem was written by Natasha Niemi with different techniques called "Spring". I think this is an imagery poem since they're everywhere, from the start to end, the poem is packed with amazing imagery. There are a lot of examples, like at the start, the poem described how the flowers bloomed in different sizes and colors, which is sight imagery. Also in the poem it says how the scent of the flowers is sweet, which is smell imagery. Those examples show that this poem is an amazing and descriptive imagery poem.

Symbolic
Farcical, extravagant My birthmark is a scar A speckled blotch ... A spot of pox An icon from afar I'm an upstart, I'm an eyesore Ranting with a flair In a tempest, I'm a rabid bird Setting fire to the air As dauntless as a hellhag Unmoved by love or care I can hold up in a cyclone Feasting on your fear I'm your last hope As a laughingstock I'm your courage in a dare As audacious as a terrorist With death-defying hair When it's time to play the tragic fool I'm as flagrant as a glare Seething with a vengeance In a tantrum of despair
Imagery:
The newborn flowers blossom in all sizes and vivid colors. When you walk by, their sweet and luscious aromas ensnare you.. The beautiful butterflies titter Around the light grassy areas. The trees are full of lush, dark green leaves. Spring is when you can really savor the intense scent of nature.
